Hi, we're group of UK-based Alice in Wonderland cosplayers.

Our aim is to take our interpretations of Lewis Carroll's wonderfully weird characters and make equally wonderful cosplay out of them!

It's been almost a year since I made this group and about 4 months since I updated, so I think it's time to post something! XD

Just a quick question is all, since this isn't a super group and we can't do polls, would anyone be up for a photoshoot in the summer, or would you guys rather leave it til next year to start working on your costumes, as I know only 3 of us are (overall) finished and most people have a lot of things planned out for this year anyway? ^-^

If you feel like starting either way, that'd be great and be sure to post your progress! Plus, if you know anyone who'd like to join, there's still room left of the cast list: [link]

Artist Call - UK

I am exhibition manager of a monthly exhibition emerging and established artists.
We are always looking for new artists to exhibit.
We currently have an exhibition in London and are expanding to Manchester and Birmingham in March.
The next show in London is Wednesday 26th January 2010 and we have just had some last minute cancellations so have a few spaces to fill!

I want to cosplay the White Queen [book version,not tim burton version] to the Expo coming up, but I can't find a crown =[

Heya just thought I'd mention that in terms of a group for October Expo, both me and :iconnocturnal-blossom: have already planned a pair cosplay for that day and we're hoping to enter the masquerade, so I'm afraid we won't be able to join you guys for that - sorry!

Thank you for the invitation to join the group my dears! I love the idea of an Alice in Wonderland group at the October Expo ^__^ If nobody has any objections, I'd like to put myself forward as a possible White Queen? :)

When watching the movie the other day, I'm afraid to say I was already rapt with sizing up the costume designs and wondering how I might be able to make them work..lol I think I need to get out more :D

Ok, been thinking up ideas for this, if you're sure you still want it, and I think I'm going to make him an Aristocratic Gambler! There are reasons for this LOL

Ace can either be the top of the deck, or the bottom depending on how you're playing. So I thought Aristocrat as they have little purpose, but are still in the high ranks of society. Also, the gambling part because gamblers can be filthy rich one minute, then flat broke the next, hence being high or low ^_^

Whacha think so far?
